Premier League referee, Mike Jones will take charge of tonight's Checkatrade Trophy tie against Doncaster Rovers at Blundell Park (7.45pm).

Premier League referee, Mike Jones will take charge of tonight's Checkatrade Trophy tie against Doncaster Rovers at Blundell Park (7.45pm). 

The Cheshire based official joined the Football League list in 1997, making his his debut at Mansfield Town v Hull City in August of that year.  

He has officiated in one game this season, The Premier League clash between Southampton and Swansea City. He showed three yellow cards during that game.

Last season he took charge of 30 games showing 120 yellow cards and 5 reds.

You have to go back to February 2007 for his last game in charge of a Town game. Town fans will have fond memories of the game - a 6-0 win at Boston United.

Mike will be assisted by Stuart Burt and Adrian Holmes, the Fourth Official will be  Andy Madley.

Admission tonight is just £10 and £5 with Kids getting in for Free - with a paying adult.
