We are delighted to announce that former Scunthorpe United and Fleetwood winger Martyn Woolford has joined the club on a one-year deal.
The Yorkshire born player has been training with the Mariners this week and watched Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy tie against Doncaster Rovers.
He has scored 56 goals in 379 league appearances during his 11-year career as a professional, with spells at York City, Scunthorpe United, Bristol City, Millwall, and Sheffield United.
The 31-year-old becomes the Mariners’ 12th summer signing.
"I'm pleased to get the deal done," he said.
"I've been in training since Monday, got a real good feel for the club. It's one that impressed me, the players, the manager and the staff."
"I'm hoping to get quite a few games under my belt and prove myself again," he added.
