Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that midfielder, Jamey Osborne has re-joined former club, Solihull Moors on a 28-day loan.
The midfielder is continuing to make his comeback from a significant knee injury that he sustained towards the end of pre-season.
"I approached the gaffer to see if there would be a chance of me getting out on loan to help me get up to speed and be closer to home for personal reasons", confirmed Osborne.
"A short term loan gives me a great chance to get a significant number of games and important minutes under my belt before returning to Grimsby ahead of our home game vs. Accrington Stanley at the end of the month".
Manager, Russell Slade was willing to agree to Jamey's request in order for him to continue on his road to recovery. "Jamey approached me about getting out short-term in order to get some game time and be closer to home for a number of personal reasons. It's the sensible thing to do at the minute," said Slade.
"Since we do not have a game this weekend, he has the chance to play in two games with Solihull which is a huge positive for him."
"With him being out for such a long period of time, it is a great chance for him to get those minutes under his belt as quickly as possible and stake a claim for the line-up when we welcome Accrington Stanley".
Jamey joins fellow GTFC player, Akwasi Asante at his former club and will be eligible for Solihull Moors' league fixture at home to Leyton Orient on Saturday.
