#GTFCUnityDay

Ahead of our first Christmas fixture on Saturday, Grimsby Town Football Club and The Mariners Trust are set to launch #GTFCUnityDay.

3 December 2017

Unity! Mariners Trust Board members, Stuart Raithby, Paul Savage, Kristine Green, Terry Rudrum, Alan Rutter, Jon Wood and Sophie Bray.

As part of the forthcoming Unity day, we are offering ‘Kids go Free’ tickets in all stands when accompanied by a responsible adult. Those who have already purchased accompanied junior tickets for the fixture can return these to the Blundell Park ticket office and redeem a refund. This offer is also open to GTFC season ticket holders.

Mariners Trust members, when quoting their membership number at the GTFC Ticket Office can purchase 2 adult tickets for the fixture for just £12 each in all stands and show their support by bringing a friend, work colleague, family member etc.

“The Trust appreciates there has been a number of off-the-field issues to digest following the Fans’ Forum”, said Mariners Trust Chairman, Paul Savage. “But it is imperative we get behind the team and look to continue the recent good wins against Swindon and Barnet.

“We’ve teamed up with the club for a number of offers to encourage as many supporters as possible to pass up on a trip for the Christmas shopping and get down to Blundell Park instead. Let’s get behind the boys and hope for a repeat of the Wembley Play-off Final win against Forest Green.”

The Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust has been allocated 600 vouchers to redeem for tickets in the Osmond Stand to distribute to their educational partners. These vouchers entitle the holder to one adult and one junior ticket free-of-charge for the fixture.

Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust Community Manager, Graham Rodger had the following to say regarding the GTFC Unity Day. “This is a fantastic opportunity to build on our Common Ground theme, which brings our Community together and puts Grimsby Town Football Club at the centre of that cohesion”.

There will also be a voucher in the Grimsby Telegraph in the week building up to the fixture. This voucher can be redeemed for an adult ticket for £12 and two free junior tickets. Those redeeming the voucher will also receive a FREE Santa hat and also be entitled to a number of discounts within the club shop which will be announced during the week.

As it is our final home game prior to Christmas, we are hoping to get a Choir/band to perform and also dress Blundell Park festively for Christmas.

On the back of two consecutive wins, let’s help pack the park, support the boys on the pitch and enjoy the festivities.

Merry Christmas from all at Grimsby Town Football Club.
