Russell Slade and his team visited the Rain Forest Ward at the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital earlier today.
Fortunately there are not too many children on the ward at the moment, but the Town players handed out some gifts to the ones that were there.
Town boss Russell Slade said that it was a privilege and a more than worthwhile trip.
“These visits are always important,” he said. “The players have been taking around goodie bags to the children that are here, but there are not too many children here today. That is a positive thing because you want them at home, spending time with their parents and friends. For those that look like they might be here, it is nice to be able try to put a smile on their faces.
“It’s nice to be able to do it, it’s a privilege to be able to do it. We’ve made the short trip over and it’s more than worth while,” he added.
