Staffordshire referee Christopher Sarginson will take charge of Grimsby Town’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Luton Town at Kenilworth Road on Saturday (3pm).
Sarginson has already been the man in the middle of a Mariners game this season, officiating in Town’s 1-0 home win over Crewe in League Two in September.
He has handed out 75 yellow cards and five reds in his 23 games so far this season.
Sarginson has been an EFL official since the 2008-09 season, meaning he is approaching his 10-year mark as a referee in the Football League.
He was the referee for the Checkatrade Trophy final between Coventry City and Oxford United at Wembley Stadium last season.
He will be assisted by Stephen Brown and Andrew Hendley, and fourth official Stuart Butler, for the clash with the Hatters, who are currently the league leaders.
