Rose Set For Reserves Outing

9 January 2017

OUR Reserves team will head for Rotherham tomorrow for a rearranged Central League fixture (1pm).

The Town management are hoping to get the go ahead to play up to seven unnamed trialists at United's training ground.

Sean McAllister is hoping to get an hour on the pitch as he looks to build up his match fitness after recovering from a groin injury. It's been a long recovery process for the midfielder and he will be hoping to play his way into Marcus Bignot's plans in the coming weeks.

18 year old striker Ahkeem Rose is also including in the squad. The Jamaican front man, who had been on trial with Neil Woods' youth team, had impressed Town's coach and was duly offered an 18-month contract with the club.

Entry to the game at Roundwood is free with teamsheets available for purchase from the gate.
