The attack minded goalscorer has scored 9 goals in 18 starts for Gateshead in the Vanarama National League this season.
The 25-year-old joined Gateshead from Alftreton, where he scored 19 goals that season before making his move to the Heeds this season.
Jones will meet up with his new team mates and manager at Cheapside on Thursday.
