Webb To Take Charge At Carlisle - Referee Watch

1 January 2017

LANCASHIRE official David Webb will be the official for Monday's League Two clash with Carlisle United at Brunton Park.

Webb has officiated at EFL level since 2008, and took charge of a number of Town games during his first two seasons at that level.

The last of those was the 2-2 draw with Accrington Stanley on the eve of Halloween, where the official was in the headlines when he sent off Town defender Oliver Lancashire and awarded a penalty for Stanley before a last gasp equaliser from Barry Conlon saw Town earn a point at Blundell Park.

This campaign has seen him hand out 62 yellow cards and one red in 24 games so far.

Webb will be assisted by Ricky Wootton, Natalie Aspinall and fourth official Matthew Dicicco.
