Town midfielder Jamey Osborne is enjoying pre season so far - apart from a bad bout of hay fever which has suddenly hit him.
"It's been an enjoyable one. I've never had six or seven weeks off before as I was part-time and I had a full time job as well. I enjoyed it with the family but now I am back here, ready to go, waiting for the first game of the season."
And the midfielder was pleased to get some game time and get on the score-sheet against Cleethorpes Town on Tuesday night.
He said: "The main thing was getting the minutes under our belt. You can run as much as you want off the pitch but it's match fitness that really counts."
Speaking of the wonder strike from the halfway line at Bradley, he said: "Obviously it's nice to get a goal, but hopefully I can get a couple more like that during the season and not just in the friendly's ."
Ozzie has been hit badly by hay fever today and was forced to sit out part of the Thursday morning training session.
He added: "I was just saying to a few of the lads, over the last three or four years, it's really come on and has seemed to get worse and worse every year. Obviously it's really picked up at training today. Even though I sat out half of training today, I said I will see how I get on late on this evening."
