We are pleased to announce that Graham Rodger has been appointed as the club's Chief Scout.
Rodger, who is also the club's Community Officer, said: "I'm really, really pleased to be appointed. Obviously history goes back a long time with the football club, and obviously go back with Russell.
"It's fantastic to be back involved, not only to be working with Russell, but with Paul Wilkinson too."
Graham has been scouting for various clubs for a number of years and believes that he has a lot to offer the Town management team.
He said: "I've been doing it for numerous years, but I have to be honest, to be back working for Grimsby is a very pleasing and a proud moment.
"You are at the beck and call of the manager and what he needs doing - from match reports to individual player reports. It's always good to be working closely with the management team - so that I understand what they get from me is going to improve the knowledge they get on a team."
Graham will start in his new role immediately and is set to scout our early season opponents in the coming weeks.
