Grimsby Town Football Club can confirm that Jamey Osborne has suffered damage to the Posterior Cruciate Ligament in his knee.
Jamey suffered the injury during a training session on Monday morning and is expected to miss the remainder of 2017 while he recovers.
"It's a significant injury, but it's not as bad as we first feared", mentioned Physiotherapist, Dave Moore. "His leg will be immobilised for the next few weeks before he starts his rehabilitation.“
Osborne is now expected to miss the next 5 months before returning to action for The Mariners. “With Jamey, we are hoping that he will be able to return around Christmas time”.
We wish Jamey a full and speedy recovery and all the best during his period of recovery.
