TOWN defender Danny Andrew says that contract talks with the club are ongoing, but in the meantime he wants to concentrate on his football. The 26 year old is out of contract in the summer and Town boss Marcus Bignot has already stated that he is keen to hold onto the player.
Speaking after today's 1-1 draw at Accrington Stanley, Danny said: "I'm up this season but I'm just focusing on everything here at the minute. Obviously the play-offs are a massive ask, so I'm focusing on getting as high in the league as we can.
"We've spoke and discussions are ongoing. We are going to have to see, at the moment I'm just focusing on football - i just want to win every game - keep clean sheets every game. That's my aim."
Speaking about today's game, he said: "We are gutted again. Another quality free-kick. Obviously Macca can't do anything about it, it's gone right in the top corner. That sums up our season so far.
"Unfortunately for us it seems like a curse, if somebody gets a free kick on the edge of the box, it goes in."
