Comedian Jack Whitehall and some of Grimsby's biggest stars descended upon Blundell Park for a special charity football match at the weekend.
Organised by local comedian and long-time Grimsby Town fan Lloyd Griffith in aid of the Mariners Trust and Bloodwise, the day saw a group of fans against the celebrities and a number of ex-Grimsby Town players in a game that most will surely remember for a long time.
The teams on the day were the Lloyd Griffith's All Star XI made up of famous faces such as Thomas Turgoose, Jack Whitehall, YouTuber Thomas Grey and ex-players Danny North, Gary Croft and Martin Gritton, while the fans team was called Operation Promotion, and was made up of a number of excited local fans, keen to test their skills against some of their former heroes.
