Although Jamey Osborne has made great progress in his comeback from injury, Town boss Russell Slade feels that he is not quite ready to make a first team start.
Speaking at today's pre match press conference, Slade said: “He’s not ready to start yet. He knows he’s not ready, Jamey will tell you he’s not quite ready yet. We had a conversation where he wanted to consider getting a couple of games somewhere, to get up to speed. But I would rather keep him with us, keep working with us and building his numbers up really.”
The Town boss is hoping that Martyn Woolford has recovered from the illness that forced him to miss Saturday’s clash with Carlisle United. The midfielder did report for training today and will hopefully be fit to face Swindon Town on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
James Berrett is still an injury concern for the Mariners. He also missed Saturday with a back problem but the Russell Slade is hoping to get him back on the training ground today too.
Paul Dixon will be available again after serving a one match ban at the weekend.
