Defender Zak Mills is set to make a return after recovering from injury at Scunthorpe United on Tuesday night. This is what Town boss Russell Slade had to say in his pre match press conference.
He said: “We’ve got a few little niggles. Ben Davies was in the treatment room this morning, Summers (Luke Summerfield) came off with a bit of a groin problem, so we need them to recover for the weekend for sure.
“Zak is fine, Zak's good. He had a couple of days last week, he’s had a day again today. We would hope that we would get Zak some football tomorrow night."
And the Town boss says that Karleigh Osborne and Harry Clifton are both set to come into his thinking at Glanford Park.
He said: "He's another one [Karleigh] who's been at the front of my mind any way, he will get some football for sure.
"Harry Clifton will be starting, I'm pleased for that."
"I've got a group of like 20/21, that are fit, so it is important that they get some football, so that they are ready to go in when we have a competitive league game."
The Town boss has also revealed that Akwasi Asante is set to feature for the reserves at Rotherham United on Wednesday. The frontman missed all of Town's pre-season programme with an upper leg injury and has only returned to full training in recent weeks.
