Town boss Russell Slade is set to ring the changes in a bid to ‘freshen things up’ ahead of the visit of Colchester United on Tuesday night (7.45pm).
“There will be a few changes for the game,” he said. “Not from a tactical point of view, more about getting some fresh legs out there, so that we are not stale and can get on the front foot.”
And asked about some of the squad that hasn’t featured of late.
Slade said: “We’ve named a 20 man squad in recent games – obviously there’s a couple that have missed out each time. They’ve just got to keep working hard and wait for their opportunity.”
Might it be time to give Siriki Dembele a rest?
The boss commented: “You’re always conscious of your young players and how much football they are getting, and it is a fact that at some stage they need to have a little bit of a break before they go again.”
