Simeon Jackson, who has been missing since picking up a hamstring injury at Crawley back in February, could come into contention for a place in next week’s squad to face Barnet.
Ben Davies, who missed the games against Stevenage and Wycombe over the Easter weekend, is expected to missing again for Saturday’s clash against Chesterfield.
The Town boss confirmed that Mallik Wilks has returned to his parent club Leeds for treatment on a hamstring injury.
Karleigh Osborne returned to training this week after injury and is set to come back into the 18 man squad to face the Spireites.
Jolley on what he knows about Saturday’s opposition.
“We know quite a lot. I know the manager quite well and I certainly know Alex Whitmore, one of the players, very well. Between my staff we have a good knowledge of their players – as I am sure they will of ours.
“We know that they are a team that are capable of producing good results. I saw them recently beat Notts County and they are a very capable team, so we are in for a difficult fixture but I believe that they are as well. So it should be a good game,” he added.
The fans have a big part to play.
He said: “I saw the reaction from the supporters at the end of the game (Wycombe) which was really positive and we are very grateful to them. We need them to stick with us and they certainly did on Monday, because I think that they could see a team that gave everything to try to get something from the game.
“Nobody needs to tell us how important Saturday is (for both teams), we hope and expect our supporters to create a really good atmosphere, get right behind the team, stick with the team through the 90 minutes. If they can do that, we will do everything in our power again to try to repay them with the result we all want.”
