Oliver Langford will oversee the Mariners first away game of the season at Macclesfield Town on Saturday.
The West Midlands based official boasts nine seasons as an EFL referee and has taken charge of more than 360 matches in all competitions - including officiating in the Dallas Cup and Algarve Cup as part of the PGMO development programme.
Despite his experience, this will be only his second game in charge of a Town fixture – the one and only previous occasion was against Morecambe back in back in 2008.
Last season, in 39 games, he showed 121 Yellow Cards and 5 Red Cards.
He will be assisted on Saturday by Nigel Lugg and James Mainwaring. The Fourth Official will be Simeon Lucas.
