Grimsby Town look to make it four Sky Bet League Two games unbeaten as they travel to Whaddon Road to face Cheltenham Town on Saturday (3pm).

Michael Jolley’s side made it five home league games unbeaten at Blundell Park as they beat Tranmere Rovers 5-2 last week.

And the Mariners will now be hoping to take that form on the road and win their third away league game of the season as they travel to 22nd-place Cheltenham Town this weekend.

But the Robins are in resurgent form, and will be hoping to get their third win in four league games as they take on Town at Whaddon Road.

Michael Duff’s men lost 4-1 away at Bury last time out in the league, but had gone seven games unbeaten in all competitions prior to that defeat.

One to watch: Tyrone Barnett

The striker has scored four goals in 20 games in all competitions for the Robins so far this season – with Cheltenham unbeaten when he’s found the net.

Barnett has scored three goals in his last six appearances, including the Robins’ second in the 2-1 win over Newport County last time out in the league.

And the 33-year-old, who is on loan from Port Vale, will be looking to continue his good form against Town on Saturday.

Last starting XI

The Robins’ three-game unbeaten run came to an end last time out in the league as they lost 4-1 to Bury at Gigg Lane, despite ex-Town midfielder Chris Clements’ first-half strike.

Cheltenham went with a 3-5-2 system last time out, with Scott Flinders in goal, and a back three of William Boyle, Ben Tozer (c), and Jordon Forster.

Ryan Broom, Chris Hussey, Nigel Atangana, Chris Clements, and Conor Thomas made up the midfield five, with Luke Varney and Tyrone Barnett up top.

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Cheltenham Town.
