Grimsby Town Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of Aston Villa defender, Easah Suliman on loan until the end of the season.
Town have fought off competition from a number of clubs to secure the highly rated 19-year-old's signature. The centre back joins us from Villa, where he has spent his entire career since joining their Academy in 2012.
Suliman has previous experience in League Two, having joined Cheltenham Town on a short-term loan in August 2016, making a total of 12 appearances during this period.
Easah has represented England at all age groups from the Under 16's through to the Under 20's, making a total of 40 appearances for his country. Easah has also captained his country on a number of occasions, becoming the first player of Asian background to captain England at any age group.
In July 2017, Easah was an ever-present in England's successful Under 19's European Championship campaign, including a goal during the tournament vs. Portugal.
Easah will meet his new team mates this week and will be available for selection ahead of Saturday's visit of his former club, Cheltenham Town at Blundell Park.
