Grimsby Town Football Club are delighted to announce that The Graphic Bomb will design the club’s matchday programme for the 2018/19 season.
The award-winning designers will be giving the publication a brand new look for the coming campaign, which will include a number of eye-catching illustrations and page-turning features celebrating the club’s 140 year history.
The Graphic Bomb’s work should be very familiar to Town supporters, as last season they produced the popular programme covers for The Mariner.
Jack Johnson, the club’s Programme Editor, thinks it’s an exciting move for The Mariner.
“I’m delighted that The Graphic Bomb are going to be designing The Mariner next season,” Jack said.
“Their programmes have won loads of awards in the past and the illustrations they did for us last season were really popular with the fans. I’m really looking forward collaborating with them again next season.”
The Graphic Bomb have gained many plaudits for their innovative design work and have twice won the coveted League 2 ‘Programme of The Season Award’. However, they will be hoping that next season they can help The Mariner to the top prize.
Speaking to gtfc.co.uk, The Graphic Bomb had this to say about the announcement.
“Having contributed artwork to The Mariner for the past three seasons, we are proud and delighted to be given the opportunity to collaborate with the team at Grimsby Town on the complete programme for 2018/19 season.”
“Here’s to a great working relationship and a successful campaign.”
Mariners fans won’t have to wait too long to see the new-look programme, with a pre-season edition of The Mariner expected next month for the visits of Sunderland AFC and Doncaster Rovers.
