Michael Jolley was less than happy with his team's performance at Sincil Bank today.
Speaking at the post match press conference, he said: “I can’t stand here and say that I was happy with our performance.
“I thought we started the game quite well, for the first half an hour or so.
“Until they scored the first goal, we were more than in the game, and we had probably the best chance at that point when we hit the bar and the post.
“Then we had a crazy eight minutes or so where they scored the three goals.
“Clearly, if you give any team a three-goal advantage it’s really difficult to get back into the game from that point on.
“What I would say is, from that moment on, we regrouped, tried to get back into the game and obviously we got the one goal.
"Second half we tried to change it, tried to create more chances. We made some changes from the bench, but we weren’t able to get that second goal which would have given us some momentum.
“I can’t stand here and say that I am happy with the outcome, it’s a local derby and no-one wants to lose that. But we stayed in the game and we can take some positives from it. We quickly have to dust ourselves down, re-group and look to the next eight games - starting next week," he added.
