Andrew Fox joined the Mariners last week and made his full debut against Port Vale on Saturday.
In his first interview on iFollow, he told us how that debut had gone. He said: ''It went fairly well. I thought the game had a bit of everything in it,
''It was a shame to go one-nil down early on, but in the manner that we came back we were able to get something.''
And the former AFC Eskilstuna man was pleased with his fitness-levels and delighted to get ninety minutes under his belt.
He said: ''I felt alright. It was like my first game for a little while but I felt good, getting up and down the pitch, I felt that I could do everything that I needed to.''
Getting to know the boys.
''I was up all week training so I got to know them in that time and they've been very welcoming with me.''
We deserved at least a point.
''I think so, definitely. The way the last 20 minutes was going I think the momentum was all ours. We definitely deserved to get one, it's a shame we didn't go on and get the winner.''
''I was really impressed by the atmosphere, the fans were brilliant. They were very loud, got behind us. Because of that noise I thought that we were the team that were going to go on and get that winner.
''I know that the focus from all of the lads is to get out from the position that we are in and start climbing the table.''
Signing for the Mariners.
''As soon as it was an opportunity it was one that I jumped at. I very much enjoyed working with him Michael Jolley] previously in Sweden. I just want to come in and work hard for him and the other boys here.''
What is Michael Jolley like as a boss?
''He's very good. Gives you a lot of good information, he's very focussed on improving the individual as well as the team as a whole. He's working hard to get the boys altogether and I think we will start seeing that.''
