Town boss Michael Jolley was pleased with a point in the end at in-form Northampton Town on Saturday, going on to praise his side’s resilience after coming back twice.
Speaking on iFollow Mariners, he said: “It was a game that had everything, it was a roller coaster.
“Obviously they started like a house on fire and got their noses in front early. That was really frustrating because we felt knew what they would try and do, but we didn’t deal well enough with it.
“I thought that we were fortunate to go in one each at half time, but I thought that we were much the better team in the second half.
“It was frustrating to go two-one behind when we felt that it was more likely that we would get that next goal. Credit to the players because they’ve come back twice in a game, come away with a very hard-earnt point.”
