This is an invitation to all Town supporters on behalf of The Blind Beggar pub in Crewe. All Town supporters are welcome to the pub on junction of Mill Street and Pedley Street, less than 5 minutes walk from Gresty Road and Crewe Station. The pub is very friendly and great value offering Holts Smooth at £1.80, Lager at £2.20, real ales at £2.50, 2 Guinness for £5, plus premium lagers and ciders at great value. Hope to see you all before and after the game!!.
There are a number of pubs within walking distance of the ground. The pick of these, is probably the Corner Bar at the Royal Hotel on Nantwich Road.
If you arrive in plenty of time then the Borough Arms on Earl Street comes recommended. The pub which, is listed in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, is around a mile away (15-20 minute walk).
Also in the town centre is the Hops Bar on Prince Albert Street.
How to get there.
Leave the M6 at Junction 16 and take the A5020 towards Crewe. Follow this road right into Crewe. At the roundabout junction with the A534, Nantwich Road, turn left. Gresty Road is down past the Railway Station on the left.
There is a 564 space pay and display car park at the ground which is £3.50 to park, as well as some street parking in the vicinity.
Post Code for SAT NAV: CW2 6EB
The ground is only a few minutes walk from the train station. As you come out of the Railway Station turn left and Gresty Road is down the road on your left.

William Hope comes from these parts - he was a well known spirit (ghosts) pioneer photographer, and Carey Willetts (musician & songwriter). Carey and his band Athlete have to date released four studio albums. These are Vehicles and Animals in 2003, which was nominated for a Mercury Music Prize award, Tourist in 2005, which reached number one in the UK Album Charts in its first week and included the band's highest charting song "Wires" at number four. Well worth a listen on Youtube.
