Grimsby Town and Mariners Trust are running an exhibition for GTFC 140 at Blundell Park tonight (5pm to 9pm).
The club marked its 140th anniversary last week, and both Town and the Mariners Trust will be celebrating that milestone by displaying lots of memorabilia and remembering the Mariners’ pivotal moments in history tonight.
The exhibition originally opened on a one-time basis on Sunday, September 16, but, after its roaring success, it was rescheduled for a second showing this evening.
The exhibition will show the first screening of a brand new and exclusive updated mini-documentary film on the Mariners’ ups and downs during the club’s history since 1878.
And there will be storyboards displaying important parts of the club’s history from 1878 to the present day so Mariners fans can take a more detailed look at certain points of significance.
There will be a programme and book corner so Town fans can sit down and have a read of plenty of interesting articles, features, and information about the club from previous decades.
Watch our exclusive video from the original exhibition two weeks ago below.
Entry to the exhibition – which will primarily take place in the Mariners Trust Bar – will be free, but donations to the YDA will be welcome.
And there will be access to the boardroom and Kingswood Lounge, as well as a corridor of shirts from years gone by.
There will also be a variety of replica Town shirts on sale, plenty of fantastic memorabilia on show, hot and cold drinks available, and much more!
