Grimsby Town return to Blundell Park for their first home game of the Sky Bet League Two 2019-20 season.
The Mariners kicked off their league campaign with an impressive 2-0 away win over Morecambe last weekend, thanks to goals from Elliott Whitehouse and Max Wright.
And the Blundell Park ground staff have been very busy this summer, making plenty of improvements to the stadium ahead of the upcoming campaign.
They have made improvements to the disabled facilities, including a new stair lift linking the reception ground floor to the Kingswood Lounge and McMenemy’s – which now has a disability washroom.
There are also revamped ladies’ toilets, as well as baby-changing facilities, and an improved heating system in the Main Stand.
This is all as well as the revamped floodlights, and the extensive pitch renovation which saw the infamous goalmouth humps removed.
We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Blundell Park for our first home game of the season this Saturday!
