Grimsby Town manager Michael Jolley will make some changes for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup round one tie with Doncaster Rovers at Blundell Park (7.45pm).
The Mariners – who have picked up four points from their first two Sky Bet League Two games – host Darren Moore’s side on Tuesday.
And Town boss Michael Jolley has confirmed he will make some rotations to his squad – to ensure all of his players get some game-time – for Tuesday’s clash with Sky Bet League One side Doncaster Rovers.
Speaking on iFollow Mariners, he said: “We’re very focused on the importance of our league programme, and we need to know that everybody’s ready to take part in that.
“It’s fair to say we’ll be giving opportunities to one or two other players tomorrow, but we don’t want to make wholesale changes to the team either.
“It will be a chance for some of the players who haven’t featured so far to show that they can help the team.
“Every time we take to the field as a Grimsby Town team we want to try and win.
“And the cups are important for a club like us because it can give momentum, and also important income as well.
“It’s a cup we want to try and do as well as we can in. It’s a tough opponent in Doncaster, but we’ll be trying to win the game.”
Ahkeem Rose will go for a scan on his hamstring injury, while Ludvig Öhman will undergo further tests following suffering a knock in the 1-1 draw with Bradford City at the weekend.
On-loan Newcastle United defender Liam Gibson has a chance of being involved on Tuesday, while striker Harry Cardwell is getting closer to returning to full fitness.
