6 December 2019

The Mariner will be on sale for Grimsby Town's Sky Bet League Two clash with Swindon Town at Blundell Park tomorrow (3pm).

The 64-page programme includes exclusive interviews, fan features and content to interest the whole family. Here are some of the highlights in tomorrow’s edition of The Mariner:

Defender Harry Davis speaks to Media Officer Ryan Petterson about playing under Anthony Limbrick, returning to the team and working hard to continue improving in the main interview. The 28-year-old is also the star of the pull-out centrefold.

Interim Manager Anthony Limbrick shares his thoughts of the Cheltenham game and his preparations for the visit of Swindon.

We’ve got four pages of ‘Mini Mariners’ content, including a Q&A with skipper James McKeown, photographs from recent matchday activities and a new classic Mariners Moment in Lego.

Programme editor Jack Johnson interviews former striker Jon-Paul Pittman about Wembley heartbreak, Wembley delight and that penalty miss.

We tell the story of the moment when the Mariners came within an inch of a League Cup semi final and feature a brand new illustration by Jim Connor.

We speak to photographer Stuart Roy Clarke about his work, ask him why he’s a regular at Blundell Park and share 12 of his favourite GTFC photos.

Rob McIlveen reports on three games from 40 years ago in his series on the 1979-80 title-winning season.

There are updates from the Mariners Trust and Grimsby Town Sports & Education Trust, and another installment of Blundell Park history from Rob Briggs.

And we have the lowdown on our opponents, stats from past encounters between the two sides and Stuart Roy Clarke shares his favourite Swindon Town photo from his Homes of Football collection.

The Mariner will be available around the ground priced at £3 - make sure you pick up your copy before you go through the turnstiles!
