Saturday’s special guest, Michael Boulding, took time out to have a chat with iFollow.
Prior to joining Town, Boulding was a promising young tennis player, ranking among the top 20 players in Britain.
After scoring 11 goals in a season with the Mariners in the Championship, he attracted interest from Premier League-side Aston Villa. However, his stay with Villa was short-lived and his only first team action was in the Intertoto Cup, before he returned to Blundell Park.
He spent another two years with Town and then another two with Barnsley, before he decided to retire in 2005.
In this exclusive iFollow interview.
Micky remembers his time at Blundell Park, his favourite game, his favourite goal, and he talks about his longstanding friendship with Town boss Michael Jolley. Only on iFollow Mariners
