Sol Campbell will be looking to consolidate with Macclesfield Town in the Sky Bet League Two 2019-20 campaign.
Secured survival in 2018-19
The Silkmen achieved EFL safety on the final day of the campaign in their first season back in League Two last term.
They had a tough start to the season, with former boss Mark Yates losing his job after they began the campaign with 18 games without a win.
But they lost just nine of their 27 games under new manager Sol Campbell, and finished the game with just two defeats in their final 10 matches as they secured EFL survival.
Sol Campbell
Former England and Arsenal centre-half Campbell got his first ever managerial job as he took charge of the Silkmen in November.
And the 44-year-old did a great job at the Moss Rose as he kept them up by three points, despite them being bottom of the league when he took over.
And Campbell will now be hoping to build on his impressive end to last season, and move the Silkmen further up the table in 2019-20.
Players
Top goalscorer Harry Smith left the Silkmen for Northampton Town this summer, after scoring nine goals in all competitions last season.
But they still have Nathan Cameron, Tyrone Marsh, Michael Rose, Scott Wilson, and Peter Vincenti – among others – under contract for the new season.
