Grimsby Town youth team attended a life skills session with Halifax rugby player Keegan Hirst as part of the academy’s ongoing player care package.
The 31-year-old came in to speak to the Grimsby Town youth academy about the importance of being and knowing yourself in professional sport.
He spoke about the challenges he’s faced throughout his career and how being honest has enabled him to improve as a player.
Keegan held a question and answer session with the players to give any extra information and insight on his journey.
