Entering the ground

Grimsby Town supporters should enter the ground via Block ‘A’, turnstiles 1,2 & 3 situated at the east end of the ground on Moor Lane. This entrance serves both the standing terrace and Block ‘H’ seating.

Drums, Flags and Musical Instruments

Due to the conditions of our planning permission, no drums, musical instruments or other devices intended to generate noise can be brought into the stadium.

Flags and banners without poles may be brought inside and displayed, subject to the approval of our stewards.

Where to drink.

There is a club bar at the ground, but this is for home supporters only. Although the Peninsula Stadium is situated in a largely residential area, there are surprisingly no pubs close by.

The  Fairways Lodge on George Street in Prestwich is around half a mile, a walk on foot, along pleasant public footpaths that go through Prestwich Golf Course and over the moor, a ten-minute stroll.

Inside the Ground

Refreshments are available from the kiosk situated behind the East Stand.

Car and Coach Parking

Supporters’ coaches may drop off at the coach bay on Moor Lane from where fans will be guided to the appropriate entrance (Moor Lane East, Block ‘A’, turnstiles 1,2 & 3). Coaches may then remain on Moor Lane (if there is sufficient room) or park on Kersal Road (runs North off Moor Lane just past the Western extent of the ground).

Stewards will be happy to advise and direct on the day. If you could let us know how many coaches and supporters are expected to travel, it would be appreciated.

Other Car Parking

Please note – the streets around the ground have resident permit parking restrictions in force between 5pm and midnight for matches with a 7:45pm kick-off. The local council does enforce these restrictions, so supporters are advised to be aware of them. Advice on visiting Moor Lane can be found on the website -

The extent of the resident parking zone is shown on the map below. Restricted streets are shown in red. Other restrictions may apply on Moor Lane (outlined in orange). Blue badge holders may park inside the restricted area for up to 3 hours on during the zone’s active period.salford_map.png

Park & Ride Service

Our Park & Ride service will be in operation for this game – the car park address is below.

Riverside, Agecroft Road, Swinton M27 8SJ. The charge is £2 per vehicle and a bus shuttle service will run between the car park and ground. This service starts at 6:15pm and runs again after the end of the match. Visiting supporters are welcome to use this service.

Matchday Programme

A match-day programme, priced at £3:00, will be available inside the ground.
