We caught up with vice-captain, Luke Hendrie to see what he is up to whilst in lockdown.
Speaking on iFollow Mariners, the Town defender said:” It feels quite strange, to be honest. I feel healthy which is obviously the main thing.
“I’m with my fiancé at the minute, we are self-isolating together.
“Football takes a backseat at times like this and you kind of realise, it is important, but it’s not the be-all and end-all. It’s about your health and the people around you.”
Apart from Greg (Howard’s) physical programme, Luke says that he has been keeping himself busy in other ways.
“I’m just trying to keep busy. I’ve been doing stuff around the flat, trying to keep my mind occupied. I might start reading, and I’m getting married next summer so I’ve been doing some wedding stuff.”
Luke says that he has been enjoying watching some of the classic Match of the Day games on TV, but he says that he hasn’t seen is dad in any of those games as yet. “They don’t go that far back,” he joked. I watched one the other day and it was an FA Cup game - Wycombe against Leicester.”
