Watch the highlights and listen to Ian Holloway’s reaction to tonight’s defeat at Roots Hall - the whole 15 mins of it - including his thoughts on the recent off the field events.
“It was the weirdest game I’ve ever seen,” he said. “We came out, my players had two chances to deal with the ball, and they get it wrong, and it’s in our net in 25 seconds.
“It seems to be the way things are going. After that, we basically took control of the whole half, managed to score right at the end of the first half, and I felt we were going to go on from there and try and dominate the second half.
“I’m absolutely shellshocked how we’ve lost that 3-1.
“At the minute, any time anybody puts us under a little bit of pressure we seem to be wilting, and the last goal is the last goal. It’s an absolute killer.
“What can I say about that really? Fair play to them, they showed character to come back from it, and we seemed to keep trying, but for me it’s a very, very difficult stage we’re in.
“You’ve just got to deal with it. I felt we did, then we got a goal, then I felt ‘come on, let’s see it, and we’ve lost 3-1.
“On the reflection of that game, that shouldn’t be the score, should it? We’ve hit the post, hit the bar, and that’s just the way things are going.”
