Speaking after today's 3-0 defeat to The Cobblers, the Town boss said: "When I showed the lads the breakaways that we had and the chances that we had, you can’t afford to miss them, not in this league, not against a team as successful as Keith’s are at the moment.
"Lesson learned, isn’t it?
"They pinned us in, they got two [chances], and then by half-time it should have been 2-2, and it wasn’t.
"That’s as poor as we’ve finished since I’ve been here really, and then you go and lose James Hanson, your in-form striker. That didn’t help.
"We huffed and puffed, but they certainly blew our house over.
"We knew they were good at set-plays. We talked about that, practised them yesterday, but when you practice it, you’ve still got to deliver it, and unfortunately, they were very, very good at it. They were very brave because they know they’re good at it."
