5,000 has already been raised for the Grimsby Town Disabled Supporters Club.
The money raised will go towards funding the group's coach travel to our away games. The original target of £3,000 was reached in a matter of days and the next £6,000 milestone is expected to be smashed by the end of this week.
BBC Radio Humberside’s John Tondeur and the club’s press officer Dale Ladson, who started the fundraising campaign, handed over a cheque for £5,000 to the supporters club ahead of Saturday’s fixture with Exeter City.
A massive thank you to everyone who has already pledged their support.
