We are pleased to announce that the next in our series of 'An Evening With' speaker events will be with former Chelsea, Blackburn and Celtic striker, Chris Sutton.
Sutton played for a number of top clubs, making over 500 first-team appearances in all competitions, scoring 196 goals. In July 1994, Sutton became the most expensive player in English football, when he made the transfer from Norwich City to Blackburn Rovers for a reported £5million. During his first season, Sutton and Alan Shearer developed a devastating partnership, helping the club win their first League title in 80 years.
In addition to the Premier League title, Sutton picked up a number of club and individual awards, including 4 Scottish Premiership Titles, 3 Scottish Cups, 1 Scottish League Cup, the Premier League Golden Boot, Scottish Player's Player of the Year and numerous Player of the Month awards.
Tickets for the event will cost £45 per head which will also include a three-course meal and live entertainment from stand-up comedian, Bill Woolland. The doors for the event will open from 7 pm, with dining to commence at 7:30 pm.
