FT: Grimsby Town Women 2-0 Cleethorpes Town Ladies
Our Women's team are through to the Lincolnshire County Cup Final after they saw off Cleethorpes Town this afternoon.
Beth Wharton had given Town the lead early on, running onto a through pass and finishing cooly past the Clee Town keeper.
And then (watch out for this goal on our Youtube channel later), Alisha Dejonge's over head kick gave the keeper no chance to double Town's advantage.
Town created more chances and rattled the crossbar twice, but it was the two first-half goals that saw the girls through to the final against Lincoln City Ladies in April.
