During the Coronavirus lockdown, we will be checking in to our players’ homes to see how they are coping with the unprecedented circumstances that they are facing.
We kick-off with skipper James McKeown. The James McKeown household is certainly taking matters seriously.
Speaking on iFollow, the Town keeper said: “I love playing football, but that is secondary at the minute.
“It’s slowly come out what is happening, I don’t know if everyone was taking it seriously – including myself. You look at it now and it is obviously a big, big time, big situation.
“I think that staying at home is the best thing. People might think that I am not going to get it, but you might get it and pass it to someone who won’t be alright with it.
“It’s a strange one in terms of it looking like we won’t have a summer off, so it is getting your head around it, this could be our only time off.
“It’s weird, you can’t really do what you do in the summer. We sort of plan our summer holidays, days away. You can’t really do that.
“But the kids are off. I’m sure it will be nice for the first couple of weeks, God knows what it will be like after that” he joked.“
Macca continued: “If it is going to help save people, save lives, it is not a problem really.”
