Ian Holloway said that he was proud of his players - despite today’s FA Cup exit.

Speaking straight after today’s FA Cup tie, Ollie was left dumbfounded as to how his team found themselves going out of the cup.

“The game’s crazy,” he said. “That’s as good as we’ve played for quite a while, and I’m stood here after a 3-1 defeat.

“That’s life. We got through god knows how many times, we outplayed them in certain areas, and then we make a silly mistake at the end, we didn’t capitalise on our chances, but well done to Dagenham.

“They kept going and stole it at the end, and I’m sure their manager will be honest and say how we won that 3-1 I really don’t know.

“I told them that I’m very proud of them, and I told them that I want them to keep playing and build our identity of how to pass and how to play, even if you make a mistake.”
