Nottingham Forest Under 23 full-back, Danny Preston has joined the club on a season-long loan deal.
Danny is described by Forest as a talented left-back who has impressed observers with his combative and full-blooded performances.
Preston showed plenty of promise in his first year as a scholar, competing in the higher age group and holding his own as well as featuring in the Under 18s as they reached the FA Youth Cup fourth round.
The second half of the 2019-20 season saw Preston make a loan move to Alfreton Town and, at the age of 20, he now looks more than capable of making the step up to a higher level.
And Town boss Ian Holloway is delighted to get his man.
“I’ve managed to get him from Nottingham Forest, he’s been with their first team for the last few weeks,” Ollie said.
“I’m absolutely delighted to add him to our group. He’s really fresh, he wants to get forward, he wants to play football. He’s an attacking left-back and I’m made up that I’ve got him.”
