Paul Hurst admits he’s still learning about his side as they turn their focus to the start of the new season next week.

Speaking on GTTV, he said: “I never like to lose and I’m always going to say that, so I’m never going to be too blasé about the result.

“What I would say is thankfully there were no points at stake today.

“Obviously we didn’t start well - I don’t know if it’s a wonder strike or not, but it’s certainly one from distance that ended up in the back of the net. Probably from where we are we don’t get the best view.

“I left the house this morning with the thought of every day’s a learning day, and it’s certainly another one of those.”
