Speaking on iFollow Mariners, Paul Hurst said: “I think that they are a club that people wrongly look at and think ‘little Barrow’, but I know from people up there that is not the case. They have plans to move the club forward. They want to do everything possible to make sure they stay in the league.
“It’s another tough game. In terms of preparation and looking at them, they haven’t played because their game was off at the weekend. Their last game was against Scunthorpe – and we were obviously watching that game to see Scunthorpe – but we will have to watch it again to look at Barrow.
“In terms of their new signings, it will be Michael’s decision if he wants to change what was a winning side and put some of the new lads in.
“In some cases you can be pretty confident of getting nine, ten or even all eleven of the opposition line-up right, but in this game I don’t think that is the case. But we are aware of the players he has brought in and what potentially they can do.
“But until we get the team sheet and see the line-up we will very much concentrate on what we need to do. There are some fundamentals – and it doesn’t matter what Barrow do - we need to do parts of our job much better.”
