Ahead of this evening’s jam-packed fixture at Blundell Park, we would like to provide an update relating to certain facilities at Blundell Park.
Due to a large following expected from Wrexham this evening and in the interest of safety, the Mariners Trust Family Fan Zone will only be open prior to kick-off and will not be reopening at half-time. As with all evening fixtures, the Fan Zone will also remain closed after the final whistle. We would like to remind our supporters that access to the Family Fan Zone can only be gained via Constitutional Avenue and the zone has a maximum capacity of 200. Once this has been reached, a one-in-one-out entry system will be in place.
Please note that once you have left the Family Fan Zone to enter Blundell Park, re-entry into the Zone is not permitted. We are also pleased to announce that three additional portaloos have been added at the Osmond Stand end of the Young’s Lower.
The introduction of external food vendors here at Blundell Park has been a huge success since they were introduced earlier this year.
The increase in the congregation this has caused could eventually lead to a breach of our Stadium Safety Certificate and therefore, we have had to make the difficult decision to restrict migration between stands. We aim to accommodate all our supporters and provide a service they enjoy and will be rotating food vendor’s locations on a regular basis as a result.
We look forward to welcoming you all back to Blundell Park tonight and hope you enjoy your evening!
